Gaydzer

Brief History
Gaydzer is a Pan-Armenian Youth periodical published by the ARF Youth Office located in Beirut Lebanon. The first issue saw light in 1983 and since then 35 issues have been published.
Purpose
The purpose of the publication is to provide a medium for the Armenian Youth to provide and explore ideas. The publication is an open avenue for discussing issues that concern the youth and affect their lives.
Gaydzer covers political, economical and social issues in Armenia and Artsakh.
It provides information about world events and news.
It includes scientific and medical news.
Gaydzer interviews political figures, artists and social advocates. Athletics, hobbies and movie reviews are also published in Gaydzer.
Calendar of events and activities organised by AYFs andARF Student associations are also included in each publication.
Who writes in Gaydzer?
Gaydzer has six part-time staff members, but it also relies on contributors who submit articles to the editorial staff.
Gaydzer accepts articles in English, French and Armenian from anyone who wants to share her or his ideas and opinions with the readers of Gaydzer. The publications major goal is to provide the youth a forum to communicate thoughts and explore new horizons.

The book titles
ARF Youth Office.
The ARF Youth Office was established in 1983 in Beirut Lebanon.
Purpose The purpose of this office is to co-ordinate activities among the AYFs and ARF Student Associations world wide. This office also serves as a link between the Armenian Youth in the Diaspora and the youth in Armenia. Activities
- AYF Youth Office establishes links with youth organisations world wide and participates in conferences and meetings organised by international youth organisations.
- The Office has organised five AYF Jamborees since 1983 with the participation of most of the AYFs and ARF Sudent Associations world wide. The latest Jamboree took place in Armenia (1997).
- The Office prepares and organises educational seminars for AYF representatives from the different regions of the world.
- The ARF Youth Office also oversees the publication of Gaydzer.
